Pilates is a specific exercise that focuses on developing core strength, mobility, improved postural alignment and coordination. It is highly adaptable to various body types, limitations and injuries. Our classes are mat based and designed to teach you proper posture, build core strength and enable you to become more aware of your body, and practice at home. We offer a 6 week therapeutic pilates course dedicated to helping you build strength and stability, overcome pain and prevent injury.

Yvette Marcek is a Registered Massage Therapist, Pilates Practitioner and Reiki Practitioner; she often incorporates each of these modalities with her clients. Recognizing that each person who comes in the treatment room has unique requirements and goals, her priority is to create a therapeutic environment that is safe, healing, and positive. Her post-secondary studies include the University of Waterloo, Sutherland-Chan School for Massage Therapy, and Stott Pilates.
Despite viewing laughter as the best form of medicine, Yvette sees the healing potential of pilates as an opportunity to move the body from a place of pain management to optimal performance.
